Notes Kristen Stewart Is the Face of a New Balenciaga Fragrance

Balenciaga is launching a new fragrance this fall with a new face to go with it: Kristen Stewart. She told WWD:

“Balenciaga has always stood out to me. Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool. That’s the way it is. I feel drawn to it. It provokes on a number of levels. It isn’t afraid or contrived. It hits a very cool balance, always. Always pretty undeniable.”

Balenciaga’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere went so far as to call Stewart a “muse” for the scent, telling WWD that he’s wanted to work with her again after doing a project together in 2006.

As far as the new fragrance, Charlotte Gainsbourg will stay on as the face of Balenciaga Paris. We don’t know anything about the new fragrance except that it will launch this fall. Unfortunately no campaign shots are available yet.
